W-2 Due Dates

If you print your own W-2's:

• 
  
  • The Employee Copy is to be either distributed or post marked by the end of January.

• 
  
  • The SSA (red) copy, along with the W-3 (red) is to be postmarked by the end of January. The mailing address is on the bottom portion of the W-3. **NOTE -- Starting with 2016 W-2 submissions the SSA has move up the due date for employer copies.

• 
  
  • The Due Date for the State copy (if required) vary by state. Consult with your accountant or contact the state for the due date.
