W-2/W-3 and 1099/1096

If a form is required to accompany the W-2s/1099s, such as a reconciliation form, the Forms Viewer will display the appropriate forms when going through the W-2/1099 process. The eFile Center will also submit these required forms to the appropriate agency.

• If you file W-2s for the SSA, it will automatically be accompanied by the W-3.

• ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​If you file 1099s for the IRS, it will automatically be accompanied by the 1096.
