Correcting "Error: PayrollAddlRes is missing from your Document folder" on OS Sierra

Question: How do I correct the error, "PayrollAddlRes is missing from your Documents folder" after updating to OS Sierra?

Answer: This is a known issue with OS Sierra. Currently to correct this:

• 
  
  • Open your hard drive and go into your Applications folder

• 
  
  • Go into the Aatrix Top Pay/Paycheck/Ultimate folder.

• 
  
  • Copy the Aatrix Top Pay/Paycheck/Ultimate program icon in the folder to the desktop.                                                                                             **NOTE - Do not make a shortcut on the desktop but make a copy of the program icon
• 
  
  • Once you have the Aatrix Top Pay/Paycheck/Ultimate program icon on the desktop drag it back into the Aatrix Top Pay/Paycheck/Ultimate folder in Applications. When prompted that it already exists select Replace.
• 
  
  • Open the payroll program.
