State Agency Payment Options

During the submission process, you will be notified if there is an amount due.

  • Some agencies require payment to be submitted with the report. In this situation, the eFile process will display info about the payment and will require the payment be made at the same time as the filing.

Some agencies, however, allow payment to be made separate from the returns.

  • In this situation, the eFile process will ask if you want to make the payment yourself, or if you want the eFile center to make the payment for you using the bank account on file.

If you choose to make this payment yourself, be sure to contact the state and verify if this is acceptable and to verify what needs to be submitted with the payment.
